    • Here's an informative thread from Zeynep, who you should be following for sound advice and useful information regarding the virus situation.

Sunshine and fresh air is very important for immunity and overall well-being. Ordering everyone to remain holed up in their home for months on end is counter-productive.

Do go outside, it's good for you. But take care to avoid close contact, and wear a mask if you need to interact with anyone. (Unless, of course, you're sick or under quarantine orders, then just tough it out for two weeks or until you get the all clear.)

Walking outside is helping me to stay sane!

I am sad that the beaches are closed in my area because of the bad behavior of some. I find listening to and walking by the ocean to be very calming. Luckily there are still open parks to supplement my walks near home.

    • My Labs normally beg to go for a walk, now, it is as if they're saying, "do we have to go again?".

I read, in Italy, even cats are getting near hourly walks! Just for humans to get outside, legally.

    • I go out hiking for at least two hours each day! I love it. There are so new things to see with chalk drawings on sidewalks and toys hanging in trees.
