It was a rainy morning (yesterday). I waited for drier conditions before I headed to the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge for a walk by the sea. Timing is everything; it was just after high tide when I arrived, and a strong wind was blowing.
I saw other people in the refuge but most of my walk was solo, no glimpses of other humans.
The tide was high enough that the short road leading to the spot where you can drop a canoe or kayak on the inland side of the island was totally flooded.
