Been very busy lately but still working on my Top 100 Anthology Project when I can get time. I am near the end. I am going to do a week of hummingbird photography next month in Arizona and I want to save some space for a couple of those images (assuming I get something I really like) but otherwise, I am near the end. Today I selected this burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia) in Florida. That's the great thing about the burrowing owl. They are amongst the easiest to find of the owl family and they are so darned fun to watch.
I love the feel of this image - the muted colors - the stealthy angle of the camera. I shot this years ago and decided to re-work it in Luminar and got a little extra out of it - very happy with the result and putting it into the collection.
