I read this short article and then began thinking of books that influenced me. I don't know if I can choose just a single one so I might have to post more often.
So here is the challenge.... pick a book that influenced how you think, act or look at the world. Maybe it affected you spiritually or helped you when you were feeling down. Or maybe it changed the way you eat or how you interacted with people.
It is okay if you can't narrow it down... you might have a book that motivated you to get involved in your community and another book that helped you deal with depression. You can list more than one!
So, to start things off....
How Not to Die by Michael Greger M.D. FACLM and Gene Stone
This single book was not actually the beginning of my major reversal of eating habits. I had been watching Dr. Greger's videos for years. But this is his first real book that became my bible for what I should and shouldn't be putting into my body. Any time I feel like I am tempted to eat junk I try to at least eat something Dr. Greger recommends as well.
