December 7th 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, that's 77 years ago...can you relate to this?
I was in Hawaii in 1996 and went to the memorial, I was accompanied by a great deal of 'older' people in my tour, there were maybe a dozen or so men in the group and every single one was in tears...but that was 22 years ago.
How many people who visit the area today can even relate, if they had friends and family that were there or lost during the bombing and were of a similar age in realistic terms they are in their 90's now.
Are historic moments like this for that generation being forgotten, did you give a second thought to the 2335 who died that day?
Did news media even mention it where you live?
