    • We're well into fall here but right now it feels like a bit of a mixed up season. There are still butterflies flitting through my favorite garden - the Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover, MA.

    • Beautiful photos! I've never experienced fall on the East Coast, but I'd love to someday. It sounds spectacular. Here in the Pacific Northwest things are mostly either green or brown with not a lot of in-between.

We do have some lovely maple trees though. The changing maple leaves are a joy to behold, but not as much of a joy to rake up. 😄

    • Thanks Ryan! I come into each autumn wondering if it's going to be a good color year. I'm heading up to Acadia National Park in just over a week, hoping to catch some color there. It's always beautiful there - the colors are a plus, but I'll be happy there with or without fall colors.

    • Yes, beautiful photos. We have a Bird of Paradise in our yard that's gorgeous right now. Sometimes I walk outside just to stare at it.

    • Thank you! I'm always delighted when I can follow butterflies through a garden. I try to visit a butterfly conservatory occasionally too - I think I need a visit soon!
