Google has made available the first developer preview (DP1) for Android 12. It introduces some small but meaningful improvements rather than big sweeping changes, which has been the theme for the past couple of iterations as Android has matured into a very polished and complete mobile operating system. The most notable change compared to Android 11 seems to be a new visual design language, though this may never be evident to many users who use non-Pixel devices as manufacturers have their own design languages that they apply over Android. Still, the many small improvements both on the surface and behind the scenes will continue to make Android better, and that's what's important.
Are you one of the few who like to try out Developer Previews? Or do you just wait for the final release?
