The Mission Inn hotel in Riverside, California is known for being on the National Registry of historic landmarks, a place that was visited by many former presidents, including President's Bush Jr., Reagan and Kennedy and as the home to a killer, free annual holiday light show.
The Festival continues into early January, so if you're in the Southern California area before then, you should stop by and check it out.
Just get there early, before the crowds get out of hand. My best pro tip: be standing outside the hotel no later than 4:45 p.m. You'll see why when you click the video. The reveal is in the first 30 seconds.
Below is a shot of my friend Josh McNair, from the California Through My Lens website, who joined me on this Photowalk of the festival. He's photographed on my Sony A7iii camera, 24-70mm lens, wide open, with the lights offering me quite the backdrop!
