do you master soundtracks?
I’m currently working on an album (or cd?) and occasionally help a friend out at his studio.
I listen to a podcast called Song Exploder. In it, an artist or band revisits an old song and describes how they built it. I assume the podcast producer selects songs which have a rich development history. One thing that I notice is that music-makers are endlessly interested in a new sounds and experiment with countless devices and softwares, both old and new, as they search for the sounds that most please them.
I bring that up because I look at your array and I find it bewildering. But I'm guessing that a lot of today's acts look at it as a starting point and and not as an infinite box of toys.
