    • Meet Laura Beck, founder of LottoLove. I got to meet her at the Renegade Craft Fair a few weeks ago. I was so intrigued by the idea that i had to reach out and learn more!

      A bit about
LottoLove: The idea behind LottoLove came during a road trip, after my husband purchased 2 scratch off cards (both were winners and are still sitting on my desk). Scratch off cards were part of my family’s holiday traditions growing up and my Grandma especially loved them. I was inspired to flip the concept of winning for yourself on its head and saw an opportunity to build something with the goal of doing good in a fun and interactive way. LottoLove cards provide basic needs to people all over the world and are an exciting gift to send to anyone in your life- a win-win! It is the only lottery where everyone is a winner, lucky you! Our mission is to make charitable giving part of everyday gifting. LottoLove has appeared on the TODAY Show, been featured in national publications and has recently partnered with Ellen Degeneres.

      So welcome Laura!

    • Thank you! I'm excited to be chatting with you and Cake!

A lot of people are surprised when they first discover LottoLove! It is really exciting to watch people's faces light up when they learn about us. Most recently, I was at Renegade in Brooklyn and a few customers stood out in particular. They were very supportive and offering a lot of words of affirmation and encouragement:

'I love this' 'What a good idea' 'how did you come up with this' 'I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner' 'LottoLove is brilliant' 'Is this your idea?'

So many people have traditions around scratch off tickets and it is empowering to watch them swap out lottery tickets with LottoLove. A 12 year old boy chatted with me about how much he appreciated what LottoLove is doing- that was a pretty special reaction from such a young customer.

    • Our current Partner list (LitWorld, Rise Against Hunger, SolarAid, WaterIsLife) creates our Basic Needs line. A couple of the Charities were referrals from other people who have worked with them. The others I found through extensive research. It was important for me to find Charities that had unique missions and ones who believed in our mission. I could tell after a few calls and meetings these were it. I hit the jackpot with them!

Yes, we will be supporting more causes soon! We will be expanding our scratch off card line with ones that focus on other areas, health, environmental, etc. I'm always on the lookout for more awesome Charities to partner. Reach out if you are one! :)

    • What’s the best story you’ve heard about someone sharing LottoLove with their family or friends? (i.e. instead of traditional wedding invitations, as a holiday gift, etc)

    • Around the Holidays our customers are replacing typical scratch off tickets with LottoLove and many gift them in stockings. Some customers have told me about their giving back tradition during Thanksgiving and this year put LottoLove at each place setting. We do a lot of corporate gifting as well. I love working with big corporations on client appreciation and holiday gifts. Companies have even used LottoLove for summits and other events. The opportunities are endless!

We do have a line of cards for weddings and people have been replacing their traditional wedding favors with LottoLove! A few months ago we created LottoLove cards for a bride and groom's big day. Each guest received a LottoLove card at their place setting. They sent me the professional photos afterwards with a very special note and it was all so beautiful. One of my favorite photos was a Dad and son playing LottoLove and he is pointing and explaining the game. It is very rewarding when our customers take the time to write us a note about how their family and friends loved the gift and the experience. photographer Kari Herer Photography

    • Thrilling! Ellen's team was fun to work with and it was seamless. I am new to show business and didn't really know what to expect. Things happen so fast and bam your product is on TV across the country. It was a surreal moment. I am so happy I was be able to work with one of the greatest Do-gooders on the launch of one of her new products and and help save gorillas.

    • LottoLove cards have the option to include greeting cards as well. Do you think you’ll add stickers or other items to show you care?

    • That is a great question! The line of scratch off cards and greeting cards we have right now are only the beginning! We have a lot of ideas in the hopper and are excited to expand on our product and cause offerings. Stay tuned for those!

    • YES! Well I hope so. We live in a world of plenty and so many people don't need more things and some people are hard to buy for. With LottoLove we are doing good and providing a gifting experience so you can send something to someone without the material aspect. The design of the scratch off card and curating the experience were very important to us. LottoLove has become a piece that people hold on to and show off in their home. Looking at the winning scratch off brings them joy. They played a part in doing something good for someone else.

    • Great question! For every card purchased LottoLove donates to one of our 4 charitable partners to fulfill their social mission of helping people receive: clean water, solar light, nutritious meals or literacy tools. The recipient doesn’t have to do anything and their charitable prize is hidden until they play the game!

      Here's how LottoLove works:

      1. Customer buys a LottoLove scratch off card
      2. LottoLove donates to the respective charitable partner
      3. Customer gifts the scratch off card to someone
      4. The recipient plays the scratch off game to discover what was donated in their honor
      5. It's a win-win!

P.S. Every LottoLove card is a winner!

    • Oh, there is so much! Be confident. Be authentic. Believe in what you’re doing 100%. Don’t be shy about connecting with people and reaching out, it’s okay to be the squeaky wheel.

"Comparison is the thief of joy." -Theodore Roosevelt
