If anyone imagines Trump will Or is playing by the rules they haven’t been paying attention the past five years. If they think the USA could never become a dictatorship they are polyannas. The level of corruption has the world looking towards the USA instead of the usual countries when it comes to corruption. Democracy is disappearing in America.

The fact that the US electoral system is just so bizarrely over-complicated doesn't help with fair and transparent elections. Simple things are easier to understand and generally harder to cheat.

Every time there is a US election I have to go back and read up on the whole electoral college system to make sense of it.
