Before anyone makes any assumptions about me, I am neither a Parler supporter nor a Trump supporter, I am posting this because I think that the argument made by EFF does have some validity regardless of my lack of support for Parler. Long-term Structure is more important than ephemeral policy.

Also, this has nothing to do with the First amendment to the US constitution.

It's an interesting read for sure. Very often I agree with the EFF absolutely, and sometimes I really don't, but they generally have well-formed arguments in all cases.

I think I need to circle back to this later when I have a minute and put together my thoughts properly, but basically while I find Parler detestable, I do think the EFF are right about the dangers in setting a precedent for, and acceptability of, infrastructure takedowns.
