    • i had really consudered that lens right up to the point when Tamron released the 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD for $ up the air again which way to go as it gets almost as good reviews as the Sony GM 24-70

I am also considering the Sony Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens and the Sony FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Lens which is outside the parameters i specified but i like the idea of one lens and not having to take it off the body to stop dust ingress in the areas i ride, this is a big plus

    • Even though the 18-200 is not that fast. It is a great lens and always mounted on one of my a6*** bodies. But, having one lense would kill me. LOL As extreme as it sounds, I would highly recommend the Rokinon 8mm as well. Just got back from Zion...hired a guide and he had all the standard shots and a similar camera bag of Sony equipment as I did. BUT, he broke out his ROK 12 and then I broke out my ROK 8....he seemed skeptical except for when I got a shot he had never seen before.

The other thing to consider is you might want to buy a FE (full frame) lense as those work fine on the any a6*** body but then if you ever go to FF, you already have your glass. The other way around does not work without an adaptor.

    • Absolutly nothing, it takes amazing shots and never had any refused by magazines for lack or resolution etc.

...but i am a world trveler and been riding a motorcycle RTW since 2011 and always looking to go smaller and lighter. For example if I had a a6xxx series with a 16-50 lens(only for example, not a lens i would pick) the lens and sony body is smaller than the k-70 body by itself....and that about it, size matter, to me.

Just to find the right lens to go along with the body
