ZoomBlur ~ Follow those taillights ~ McLaren Vale, South Australia
Hey grreat to see some ex G+'ers, I am new to Cake but I will give it a go. This is my first post. Here is one of my motion blurs inspired by some of the great posters on G+ that I've met. I am hesitant to mention names because I will probably miss out on some of my influencers, but its a technique that I would have never tried without their help. Go G+'ers
Robin Griggs
I checked out her portfolio on Google+. Fabulous. She was also featured in Shades of Color Magazine.
Happy to be another oddball with you :)
I constantly chase speed blur and am always looking for moving light. But for me the subject has to be sharp.
And some Light moves:
You have got some great shots there. Very nicely done on the panning shots. Very sharp
This is fantastic!
Fabulous image @Muffintop ... Love the tones! I use software to add motion to images all the time... there is no right or wrong way with art. I'll post some of my images later :)
Cheers.
Very well done @Suzierabs. So true. There are/were some spectacular Blur photographers on G+. I hope they do come over.
So glad you found Robin. Take a look a Alex Lapidus, Heiko Mahr and Margrit Schwarz as well. Teresa Plitcher incorporates blur in her street photos and takes it to a whole new level.
Some amazing panning and long exposures here @DangerDave ... Bravo! Look forward to seeing more of your work.
I learnt this technique from Teresa during the Photography Mentorships. It uses blur done in software. (@Muffintop ... This one is for you)
One of my favourites from the same mentorship:
Some kisses make time stand still!

Wow, what a find.
I shot this with a bit of inspiration from Alexey Titarenko.
City night lights are great for zoom blurs. You should try it if your anywhere near a city.
I remember Robin from G+. Very talented.
What happens when you photograph bikes for a gig is a lot of your photographs are of bikes :-)
Love your photo πΒ
