What’s going to be interesting to see is all the lawyers for these guys coming out and saying their client stormed the Capitol because Trump inspired them to. It’s already starting to happen.

And what do you think will come of that? Above the law?

The far right extremists have for weeks, and perhaps months now, asserted Trump would invoke a particular EO, martial law, and the insurrection act "any day now". And then arrest and/or kill virtually all members of Congress, the Supreme Court, and State Government leaders that they baselessly assert committed treason.

Most now appear resigned to the fact that won't happen just like all their expectations of overwhelming evidence that would overturn the election never happened and they are now expecting an apocalypse and some are threatening to create it.

Scary to think of what almost happened due to the extremists. Also scary to think what might have happened if Trump had really organized them and tried to take over.

So far so good but not so good that over a hundred national guards no have covid-19. That is on Trump and his enablers.
