In an interview with the New York Times, Jerry Seinfeld explained his joke writing process. As a writer and one who loves comedy, I found it to be really entertaining and interesting to hear Seinfeld explain how he writes. I saw Seinfeld perform a couple years back and it was an awesome show. You can tell he really puts a lot of thought into his craft.

I really enjoyed the TV show. Primo. Still watch a few minutes every now and again if I stop by while cable channel surfing.

But his standup ... nah, pass. Never worked for me at all.

I’m personally a big fan, but like you, there are some comics I don’t resonate with. That’s what’s interesting about humor. You can’t really control what you like and laugh at.

I’m not as big on Adam Sandler. Good actor, but I’ve never found him to be that funny.
