With all the new drinks that are out there, it feels like good ol’ water often takes a backseat and gets overlooked. Like with athletics, it feels like everyone is constantly hyping up the latest Gatorade or Powerade product without giving water much thought. Even though in truth, a combination of water and sports drink is what’s most optimal for athletic success.
Even more broadly speaking, just with everyday life and having good health, it feels like water doesn’t get the love that it deserves. At least out West. I know in Chinese culture for instance, drinking hot water is considered really good for you. Anyone else agree? I’m personally making an effort to drink more water. What about you?
