    • I haven't posted anything in a while. I have too many sites that I try to follow as they are all different in one way or another. Anyway, I love this time of the year when the cooler temperatures move in and the leaves change. Here's a shot from a recent trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.

    • I do too!

As frustrating as it can be to catch the colors in the "right" stage at favorite locations, I love wandering and experiencing the color changes.

Here's one from Acadia National Park on October 23rd. It was taken near the Wild Gardens of Acadia.

    • Count me in too!

Late September to early November are the best time of the year in Indiana - the temps and the humidities drop, the mosquitos disappear, and even the local populace tends to thin out in the out of doors.

Great weather and great colors - perfect!

Here's a couple frames of mine from Indiana in the fall gathered over the years

An oak leaf in the Japanese maple leaves - from my back yard

Cataract Falls - about 30 miles from my home

Late fall color from Turkey Run State Park, if memory serves

Although fall can look like the following image shot in Alberta in mid September of 2017

    • A lot of the trees around here have changed colors already or even lost their leaves but there's still one holding on to its mostly green leaves out my window

    • There was a lot of nice color. This was up in Canada a few weeks ago. The leaves on the ground made a photo I liked with a variety of colors that didn't come out as well taking shots of the trees and bushes.
