I have heard media outlets warning people not to believe everything they hear tonight. In fact. NPR has decided to watch and report the AP (Associated Press) declarations, because the AP usually doesn’t report until it is convinced that the candidate in second place could not possibly overcome whatever deficit exists. So apparently the AP does not prognosticate, it reports according to verified stats.
I also heard on NPR today that Fox may have the most sophisticated statistical analysis of all the media outlets and has been extremely accurate in the past—kind of amazing, given that the on-air programming is so incredibly partisan...
