I have some skepticism, too, @Angie. I haven't tried these yet but hear they do taste good. The Impossible Burger has 370mg of sodium. Most of the beyond-type products have high sodium (well, I consider anything higher than 200mg high, lol) so I don't think they can be considered healthy foods, and some of the non-meat burgers seem so processed to me when looking at the ingredient list. Lean ground sirloin has about 70mg of sodium. And the only ingredient is beef. As for being better for the environment or animals, that's a good thing and I don't mind the competition aspect. Doesn't it seem as though food and diet fads are always coming and going?
