CST 218 Web Application Development

Sadly, our Google+ Community is going away by April 2nd of 2019... Although I do not want to give up on it, this feels like one of those situations where I am going to be forced to. Because Google+ is going away (*RIP Google+*), I have created a new site for the sharing of our projects on Cake.co.

I like how you explained what you did, I was hoping to see the project look different then what it did at the end of chapter 18 though, even just changing the css would have worked!

Your chatting box looks great! I liked your original color choices. I couldn't get my styles to work, I think it is cool that you got it to work for yours and it looks nicer than a plain white background and such. Thumbs up. :)

Yeah I tried the style sheet and no matter what I did it seemed like the style sheet didn't effect the index.html file.

Did you try using the developer tools to find what each thing was being controlled by?

How do I find the developer tools? I can fix it for here, I had to turn it in the way it was because I spent a lot of time trying to fix it but kept breaking it instead.

Press ctrl+shift+i at the same time! The book talked about the developer tools earlier in the book!

This looks really cool, I like how you were able to do something different instead of Tracker for this unit of the book due to how much editing the Tracker code needed and mine still needs if I can figure it all out.
