    • I'd see very mixed reviews and was not sure what to expect.

      We watched it last night.

Having see Queen live in 1984 I thought Rami Maleks performance was very good.

I felt they skirted around his sexuality, and did not focus on what a big part that played in his life and the life of the band.

The live aid scenes at the end were amazing, although many critics were not so kind.

      Who else has seen it?

    • I saw one night before it was released...I was more into heavy metal at that time.... personally, I like how they focused more on the music and label struggles vs the drugs and sexuality. I still think he will win best actor at the academy.

    • I saw it, it was fun, but essentially it was a fluff piece. There was a much better story in there to be told. I guess having the band heavily involved precluded the more controversial parts of the story being given prominence.
