I'll start with a photo of a seagull on a rock, enjoying a spectacular view of a Pacific Grove Bay at Lover's Point. Earlier that morning, the fog was so dense that I couldn't see more than 100 yards out. But in a matter of 2 hours, it completely cleared and the sun came out.

If you are visiting Monterey, California, I highly recommend stopping by this charming bay. It is just two miles north of the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium.

      Camera: Sony A7s

I like the photo challenges, they are giving me an incentive to take the camera with me when I go for a walk.

    • His name is 'Sprocket', at least it was while I was feeding him at the border between Mexico and Guatemala. He was a street dog and if i wasn't on a motorcycle he would have been joining me on my journey

I carry dog food in my panniers for instances just like this, street dogs need love too...and yes that is a piece of dog food by his left ear
