Yesterday I took advantage of cool temperatures and the threat of rain to visit Fuller Gardens in North Hampton, NH.
I tried to visit several weeks ago but when I arrived I found that they had blocked off half of the parking spaces in their small parking lot (providing social distancing for cars). There was no available parking and parking on the street in that area is not permitted. Lucky for me I was also planning to visit the gardens in Prescott Park in Portsmouth that day so I simply kept on driving.
When I arrived at Fuller Gardens yesterday I was the only visitor there. It was a treat to wander through the flowers alone.
The garden is known for its roses. There were roses in bloom but the flowers that really caught my eyes were the dahlias. A section of the garden running alongside of a greenhouse was full of dahlias in many shapes and colors. What an amazing flower!
