Hey guys, I was actually wondering how come there wasn't such a thread already! So thanks for creating it ☺️
I make both traditional (pen, pencil, watercolor) pieces as well as digital ones. Since we are focusing on the digital here, I currently use an iPad Pro 2017 that I bought a few months ago. Before I used to use a Galaxy Note 8.0 (that's the 8 inch tablet, not the phone) and previously an IBM ThinkPad X41 (I'm getting nostalgic thinking about it.) I also have a Galaxy Note 9 and I draw on it sometimes too.
Let me make a disclaimer here: it doesn't matter which device and what software you use. I've seen amazing pieces of art drawn on MS Paint with a mouse. You gotta find what works for you but you also kind of adapt to whatever is available. Like, even though I always could and still can afford fancy drawing tools, I almost always draw with cheap ballpoint pens —and I love it. That's my preferred tool. I used to draw a lot in class during boring lessons, and the only tool available was my pen. So I got good at drawing with pens :)
Anyhow, without further ado, I'm uploading some recent drawings made on the iPad Pro, a couple older ones made with the Note 8.0, as well as 1 drawn on my Note 9 phone (the last one.) It seems that Cake only lets you upload one photo per post (at least in Android!) so I combined 6 into a collage.
Happy to hear your thoughts always.
