I woke up the next morning to find sunshine and blue sky. It was a fleeting glimpse of blue but it was enjoyable while it lasted.
My first activity of the day was a walk on the Carriage Roads of Acadia, walking the loop around Witch Hole Pond.
My next destination was the Schoodic Peninsula, a part of the park back on the mainland. It's the next peninsula up the coast to the north and east. I love walking across the rocks there!
As I drove, the clouds reappeared... no more blue sky. But hey, I love a cloudy background!
Leaving the rocky tip of the peninsula I saw a change. Beaches made up of rolling rounded stones provide a very difficult surface for walking!
