Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe, California is famous for the giant polished boulders all around its beaches. It is a must-visit the place for watching the sunset around Lake Tahoe. The sun slowly sets on the other side of the lake in the shadow of the mountains. Climbing around the rock formations, I found a spot overlooking the northern side of the lake over the Incline Village.

    • Looking at the position of your bike, I wonder if you saw this view from your mirrors and then stopped to photograph it. Is that a common skill set for a traveling photographer?

    • yes an no, I had been to this spot a few times before so I knew I would take this photo, I just used the mirrors for good positioning

    • Edited for Instagram. Exposure and all the details don't really have much meaning when I push the sliders around as much as I did on this one.
