One in eight high school seniors participate in vaping on a daily basis according to a recent study and as a whole, it appears to be getting more and more popular among young people. Teens seem to think that vaping isn’t bad because it doesn’t harm you nearly as much as regular smoking does. While it does appear as though traditional cigarettes are worse than e-cigarettes, that doesn’t mean that vaping is ok. Those who vape still get addicted to the nicotine and there has been a rise in vaping related deaths across the country. Plus, there are still a lot of unknowns about what the effects are. With less and less young people reaching for traditional cigarettes the new challenge is to convince them that e-cigarettes aren’t a healthy or risk-free alternative.
