So they asked for volunteers to test the system and I did. I'm always volunteering for some test at Stanford.
Anyway, It's cloud-based, whatever that means, and home-based, which sounds promising. Details to follow.

Keep us posted! This sounds promising!!
it’s actually a swab kit and mailer + courier service. You get a daily kit and they come by every day to pick up.
This is quite an experience! Take care and let us know how you feel and how it is going!
I actually misunderstood it a little: they send you the kit within 3 hours of being selected, via courier to your house. Cool. You do the test right away and a courier picks it up right away. You get a response within hours of whether you are positive or not. Excellent (I wasn't positive).
But they don't send you the kit every day, instead they text you a questionnaire about how you feel and if you have possibly been exposed to somebody who could infect you. So far, I've answered no to that every day.
I'm assuming if you answer yes, they courier you another test. Sounds pretty efficient.
