So Google successfully negotiated a deal with major news outlets. Facebook simply blocked them.
Including Facebook pages with content from the owner's magazine or organisation.
Most disliked person in the country is now Zuckerberg by a considerable margin. Other countries look like piling in.
Personally it has no effect on me. I'm not a big user, other's are badly impacted. I am somewhat enjoying the hatin' on FB though.

The Duckduck isn't as good as Google either. Not nearly as comprehensive.
They had been seeking compromise for quite some time - unsuccessfully. That Rupert seems to be the main beneficiary is unfortunate - other smaller organisations will benefit though.
Many people seem to tolerate it, but I don't think it'll ever be as comprehensive or as powerful as Google Search.
