    • We were only there one day since we were on a cruise. We'd love to go back and stay longer - we won't go by cruise again, we'd fly.

      A friend of ours, Pam Perkins in Redwood City, who's striving to achieve the photo excellence you have, spent 2 or 3 weeks in Cuba on an organized photo trip. She also just returned from a 3 week photo trip to Tasmania.

    • Lesson learned: Never tell these owners that their engines sound like they are running rough. It would be a long walk back to the ship!

    • Not all of the cars are beautifully restored. And even though housing is provided free by the government, getting building materials is difficult and expensive. It takes a long long time to afford them since the standard wage for everyone (I do mean everyone) is $35 per MONTH.

      I have some friends who visited Cuba in the days before you could fly there from the US. They joined a tour from Canada.

    • How do you attach multiple pics in one post?

      If an image is hosted somewhere like Flickr, SmugMug, or someone's blog, you can right-click, copy image address, and paste it into a post (unless you're using an Android phone, at least for now). Then click return and wait a few seconds for the image to appear.
