United States Attorney General Bill Barr testified before congress today and let’s just say he struggled to answer some very basic questions. When it came to mail in voting, he held firm that mail in voting can lead to widespread voter fraud despite the fact that the data indicates the exact opposite. Also, when asked if it’s ok for a presidential candidate to accept foreign assistance in an election, his response was “It depends what kind of assistance.” Only after Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) asked him a second time to follow up did Barr sweat out the words “No.” Anyone else have thoughts on Barr’s testimony? Some of his responses made my jaw drop to the floor. Especially the one about election interference.
