Last week two good friends and I adventured into the backcountry of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was 5-day backpacking trip on the eve of a Sierra winter. The plan was to track the last 40 miles of the John Muir trail. The extreme weather we encountered turned a well-planned trip upside down.
I hauled in my A7RII with a couple lenses and made it a priority to photograph the adventure so I could put together a trip report. Here's my favorite photo from the trip 👇 Those are the Kearsarge Pinnacles of Kings Canyon National Park.
