Who makes that RV? I've seen it before but can't remember the manafactur.
They are made by Earth Roamer and cost a cool $1.5M 💰
Ok, thank you. I thought it looked like a Tiger http://www.tigervehicles.com
A third the price but still darn near out of my range!
I attended the Overland Expo West at the Amado Territory Ranch in April on 2011 in my FJCruiser. My wife and I slept in a tent in 90 degree weather, in wind and dust, in a gravel parking lot. We each took a whole three days of overlanding classes.
Later we attended the Overland Expo East on the Taylor Ranch in Asheville NC during Hurricane Juaquin in a Bengal Tiger RV that I have posted pictures of here on Cake. When we left on Sunday morning the last day, we drove down the hill in 6 inch deep mud - my Tiger made me proud coming straight down that hill. We stayed dry, warm and pretty comfortable despite the endless rain and its accompanying mud. Here is a video of the road into the camping area - he pulls off the road just a bit below where we were parked - I had hoped to see my vehicle, but alas.
We didn't sign up for the whole event for Overland Expo East in 2016 October 7-9, but did go down at the last minute to meet some friends who were attending in their Tiger RVs - We stayed in the Biltmore Village Inn and enjoyed ourselves immensely. 😃
This is a video about Overland East in Asheville in 2016 -
We have enjoyed each of them in different ways, but we always learn something and buy some new toys from the vendors while we are there.
On a bit of side note, I would like to recommend a coffee table magazine - Overland Journal
I have been a subscriber since their beginning, and I still look forward to each new issue - the Winter issue just arrived yesterday, and has Scott Brady's long article about crossing Greenland south to north via the ice sheet on 4 wheels. Well worth the read.
I just finished winterizing my Tiger this afternoon - so its ready for freezing weather.
