    • I’m still enjoying the joy of printing. I’m so happy about how I’ve been able to impact peoples lives in a positive way. Here’s a print I want to surprise a friend with who recently brought a boat.

I have a Canon PIXMA PRO 100. I used Canon Printer Software, it’s printed on Harman by Hahnemuhle Gloss Baryta. This paper was like love at first sight and feel. If it had not been for that B&H sale for months I may have overlooked this gem of a paper. The look and feel makes it easy for me to charge accordingly.

Sorry for going on and on. I’m just so glad to be apart of a community of like minded enthusiastic artisans.

    • Thats great! Printing really is the best. It can change how you feel in a room. Even just for archival reasons it is great :)

    • oh, and boats on water are aweome. Great shot, I bet the print looks good in person.

Oh I bet your print looks so beautiful in person. Our screens showing the sRGB JPEG can't do it justice. There's no better way to show a photo than with a great print.

How do you calibrate your monitor to the Pixima Pro?

    • I did take an iPhone pic of the print, however in real life it is beautiful. My monitor is a 27” iMac and when I tested calibration all was very accurate. As a photographer, I kept the brightness down on my monitor from day one. I was very delighted to see the results when I saw the initial prints during testing. I would, however, would suggest calibration using the Colormunki system.
