    • Just a quick 15 minute walk away from Checkpoint Charlie...

      is the Spy Museum Berlin:

No place would be better-suited for a spectacular tribute to the
protagonists of this international gloom of espionage than Potsdamer
Platz in the centre of Berlin – the Capital of Spies. There, in 2015,
the German Spy Museum Berlin opened in a 3.000 m² (32.000 sq ft)
      exhibition space.

The museum features exhibits on the history of espionage from Roman times to the Cold War to the Present Day. It's a great museum and even features an interactive "laser maze" to test your flexibility and Mission Impossible skills.

    • Right in the center of Berlin is "Museum Island," a UNESCO World Heritage site that features six gorgeous museums nestled in the heart of the Spree River. The area around Museum Island also features the Berlin Cathedral, pictured below. If the weather permits, definitely consider going on a "Historic City Cruise" where your guide will walk you through sites like the Reichstag, Museum Island, and more.

    • For those who have a taste of adventure, you may not be able to see it too well in the below image (sorry for the mist!) but you can base-jump off of Berlin's tallest hotel. In their own words on Tripadvisor:

I personally chose not to participate, but it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those looking for a burst of adrenaline!

    • The Berlin Aquarium - while it may seem like a standard tourist attraction - is really quite extraordinary and something worth seeing! It features not only a wide variety of educational exhibits about European fish and habitats, but two of the coolest things I've ever seen in an aquarium: a circular room with massage chairs (bring plenty of 1 euro coins to relax and watch the fish swim) and the world's largest free standing aquarium so huge it has its own elevator inside so that you can ascend and look out at the world through a wall of water! Definitely worth a trip.

You should totally do this next time you get a chance! We're not exactly adrenaline junkies, but @Felicity and I jumped off the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand (a 192 meter fall) and it was tons of fun.

If you're curious how much fun it was, see if you can tell from the look on Felicity's face after her jump. 😄
