    • Please post your best Urban shots of the day: street photography, architecture, cityscapes, etc. Where did you take this shot, and is there a story behind it? What camera and settings did you use?

I took this photo last summer at a tiny town called Brentwood Bay on the island of Victoria, BC, Canada. We just happened to be there and stumbled upon a yearly town parade. This poor pony was slightly struggling uphill and carrying the three passengers.

      Camera: Sony A7s

      Lens: FE 35 f1.4

      Settings: f1.7, 1/8000, ISO 100

    • I was in a small city/big town in Central Utah last July when they held a parade. This little boy jumped out to give a veteran five and I thought it was a great moment.

    • Dramatic late day light under low clouds in Toronto.

Nikon F80, scanned from a 35mm slide using my Nikon Coolscan IV ED. Kodak E100 film.

    • Auckland from Barry's Point.

It was worth the hike over some roadworks and swamp.

Nikon D90, 30 second exposure. 'Daylight' white balance.
