    • There are so many delicious restaurants in Florence. Our favorite restaurant that we ate at 4 days out of 6 was Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco. You can see a glimpse of the wonderfully hospitable owner Massimo in the video below.

Everything is fresh and seasonally sourced. Don't miss the tiramisu.

    • Art abounds in Florence. From the Accademia Gallery where you can see Michelangelo's famous David...

To the Gipsoteca Bartolini (also located in the Accademia just a few steps away from the famous David)...

To chalk drawings and street art, there's inspiration everywhere.

When in doubt, make reservations for tours and tickets in advance to avoid long lines.

    • We wanted to do a Vespa tour of Florence, but it was a bit daunting (in terms of traffic and road signs) so we opted for a Fiat 500 tour instead. You get to see the countryside and enjoy the charms of a classic vehicle!

    • Brava! Great post—I enjoyed reading. I’m heading to Bologna in April, then possibly Florence in October. I can’t wait to finally go to Italy, it’s been on my list for a while 😊.
