    • Only in Europe have I seen this kind of traffic jam. I took this shot in downtown Basel, Switzerland.

      Camera: Sony A7s

      Lens: FE 35 f1.4

      Settings: f2.6, 1/4000, ISO 100

    • I like that one a lot. It's nicely composed, has rich colours, and is an unexpected choice of shot, by which I mean not your typical street scene.

    • This is from Toronto. The Sky Dome (as it was called when first built) sits near the CN tower. The sports arena is decorated with the cartoonish figures of fans spilling out of their box seats. From just the right vantage point, it looks like their ogling the CN tower.

Nikon F80, scanned from a 35mm slide by Nikon Coolscan IV ED. Film... I'm guessing Fuji Velvia 50 or 100, which rendered such deep blues.

This has almost no post-processing - only a light unsharp-mask. The colours are as seen on the slide. The black border is an artifact of the scanning process. It's actually the plastic frame of the slide, which renders as opaque when you scan a positive.
