True confession: I wasn't excited about him being president. I was hoping for someone younger and more dynamic. I wondered why this was the best we could do.

What I did like is he had more experience than Trump or Obama and Fox's rage machine is having trouble landing a punch to divide the nation like they could with Obama.

But I'm beginning to think I underestimated him. What do you think?

I think he's better than that bloke you had before him ... whatsisname ... you know, the orange one.

I think he's doing fine, and representing what it actually means to live a life of service to others.

I wasn't excited about him either but I believe he was the right choice for the time. Here's hoping he is able to get more done.

And the border crisis? There seem to be a lot of headlines about that and how it could hurt him.

The "crisis" would be happening regardless of policy until the root causes are addressed, and the number of people coming over is still lower than the peak which was last May even with Trump's cruel and abusive policies in place. The difference is that Biden is handling it with compassion and humanity.

Better. All I can say so far is better.

He's not playing golf and telling 50 untruths a day, so that's a great start.

It's also refreshing not waking up and thinking what did the leader of the free world say overnight.

Biden has shown he is far better than Trump. But, I think all of us on here knew he’d clear that bar with ease. As far as how he’s doing aside from clearing that bar I think it’s too early to say. But I am optimistic that he’s the right man for the hour to get us back on track.
