I used to have two fried eggs every morning for about 3 years. In my quest to rid myself of chronic migraines, I took the EveryWell Food Sensitivity test. Turned out that I had a high sensitivity to eggs which can contribute to headaches. So I stopped eating them for breakfast completely and cut back on foods that contain them as an ingredient. Other foods I had high reactivity to was cheese and milk, which I kind of figured since they cause digestion/GI issues for me. So I’ve been trying to cut out dairy completely as well.
Turns out the main trigger for my migraines was caffeine. Of course I would take Excedrin for my migraines, which contains caffeine, and would get into a never-ending rebound-migraines.
After cutting out caffeine, it appears I am pretty much migraine free.
So to bring this back to eggs, I still don’t eat eggs, but do have it sparingly as an ingredient. So regardless of if they are bad for me for other reasons like cholesterol, I think I lost the taste for them anyway. Same goes for cow milk. 😝
