I have to keep telling myself ...
But damn. What a downright enjoyable motorcycle this is.

Saw one the other day with a BMWmotorad.com.au number plate holder.
Presume it belongs to the press or management fleet.
Needs a better set of pipes sounded a bit flat, more bark rather than itβs rumble would be better, IMHO.
Great pic mate.
After 4 Days my internal monologue has gone entirely Sid Caesar.
Unt ....
Yeah - press bike.
It's a long time in this Euro 6 regulation-compliant world since any new motorcycle has barked. It sounds OK when you are on it.
It also looks a lot less like a cruiser with somebody riding it. Much more 'Standard'.
My pal 'Spook'.
He makes it look compact, must be a big unitπ
6-2 and pretty fit.
Spook 2nd from left - so imagine what I look like on it and you can see what I get my pals to model them :-)
Great photo. π·π₯ Love the look of the bike. I'm very jealous.
Nice, Dave! π· π π
I had to (sadly) give it back this morning. It's a really enjoyable motorcycle. I've got 500 words on the page test-wise already.
It's certainly a thing.
I submitted the test on the bike I affectionately dubbed 'Herman the German' to HEAVY DUTY Magazine today.
It included several pics of pal Spook on-board as well as his (well written) 'Second Opinion' piece on riding it for the shoot.
It all came up good. Well-pleased with the results.
Derp.
Awesome review. ππͺππ·π₯π
I want one and I want your accent.
Why Vimeo?
Great review Dave, well done.
Vimeo because it has responsive embedding without java on my web site.
And I didn't want to subject you to ads.
It's monetised on You Tube too ... maaaate.
I enjoyed watching your video review, and the great photography. I reckon it costs a small mortgage, after all B.M.W. stands for Bring My Wallet. Is it 'Berlin Built' with parts from China?
Are you saying motorcycle manufacturers are prone to using poetic licence?
Indian have that line sewn up at the moment.
Interesting point of view, and this had me look up the term. Indian name, as funny as may seem is in and of itself a 'poetic licence'.
Indian are currently celebration 100 years of a model the parent company have owned for 8 or so.
I don't like Triumph banging the history drum either - 1991 isn't exactly epic.
And BTW - the shot of the shaft drive spining was based on one of your suggestions.
Go Pro on the footpeg.
